A woman filed a lawsuit against her doctor after he allegedly removed her spleen without cause in Abu Dhabi.
According to the patient, she had been undergoing a bariatric surgery when the physician took out her spleen.
The doctor denied the charge and stressed that he knew the patient and several members of her family for more than 9 years, as per Al Khaleej report.
"I am surprised at her complaint. No malpractice took place during her bariatric surgery. I performed several surgeries for her before and never had a complaint since."
"She is a highly cultured woman."
He informed the court that an international medical team had declared him innocent of all malpractice charges.
