Tim Tebow is loving his contract-free season. When he’s not delivering babies, bull riding or saving puppies from blazing buildings, he’s working on his peace plan which may be making more progress than the efforts in Geneva.
In an upcoming Superbowl commercial, Tim Tebow shares his desire for peace in the world by shouting “Peace in the World” in Arabic. Who knew Tim Tebow spoke Arabic? We thought he just looked really good while taking a knee.
The much awaited annual Superbowl always brings cheers and jeers for the ad spots which cost advertisers and companies’ stadium-loads of cash to create and purchase time slots during the big game.
Criticism seems to take the lead after every pig-skin round about as most viewers hope to be just as entertained by the breaks as they are by the actual game itself.
Max Lenderman, CEO at School, a branding agency that bills itself as trying to do better by doing good things in the media had this to say.
“There might be less boobs this Super Bowl, but there will probably be more farts. I find that the dumbing down of the creative is more of a problem for advertisers than relying on sexuality to push products. I find the spark of originality missing in a lot of these upcoming spots, and that’s more troublesome for me than GoDaddy’s bikini babes.”
Last year’s GoDaddy’s commercial came under fire for representing women as objects rather than equally smart and business savvy as the men were portrayed.
This year’s game will be between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. You can catch Tebow’s Arabic peace plan between football breaks.
