A man sustained with moderate injuries after falling three stories through a ventilation shaft at a residential apartment building in Ras Al Khaimah, reported Al Ittihad.
According to sources at the Civil Defence Department of Ras Al Khaimah, the operations room received a tip-off that a person had fallen through a ventilation shaft.
The rescue and ambulance teams were immediately sent to the scene. Upon their arrival, they found him stuck on the first floor.
The rescue teams were able to extract him through the bathroom window that was connected to the shaft. He sustained moderate injuries during the rescue process.
Ambulance and medical teams provided the necessary first-aid assistance and the injured man was then transferred to the nearest hospital for treatment.
