The Arab Potash Company (APC) granted the Irbid Greater Municipality JD100,000 to establish four five-a-Side football pitches in different areas of the governorate.
Irbid Mayor Hassan Bani Hani valued the APC's donation, commending its ongoing support for the local community, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said.
This support is not the first time the APC has made such an initiative, according to Bani Hani. Previously, the company had donated water tankers at a total value of JD100,000. He also stressed on the importance of these football fields for youth in particular.
