An Egyptian court on Thursday sentenced two female dancers to six months in jail on charges of "inciting debauchery," AFP reported.
A judicial source said the two dancers, known as Bardis and Shakira, were arrested in July and convicted earlier of "broadcasting obscenities" when the women appeared in video clips wearing short dresses and deep necklines and moving in a "suggestive" way.
Thursday's conviction had been the second time since June such a verdict had been given in the country.
Reda al-Fouly, another female dancer, was also charged for inciting debauchery in June and sentenced to one year in prison. She appealed the verdict and reduced her sentence by half, according to AFP.
The women from Thursday's case can appeal the charges.
