Ministry of Interior detectives are investigating a suspicious called received from a woman claiming that her sponsors are cannibals.
Operations received a 112 call from a woman claiming to be a maid from Ethiopia. She told operations that she lives in Salwa and that her sponsors are cannibals and that she saw a head in the refrigerator.
Police were sent to the address the woman gave but no one answered the door.
Suspecting the call to be malicious, the director general for Hawally Security Major General Shihab Al-Shammari has referred the issue for further investigation.
