The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) on Sunday held a demonstration in front of UN Office in Geneva to urge countries to abolish nuclear weapons.

The protesters carried a banner saying "Sign The Nuclear Weapons Ban Treaty" ahead of a preparatory meeting for the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in the UN on Monday.

ICAN is a global civil society coalition of non-governmental organizations from over 100 countries working for the prohibition of nuclear weapons.
