A British exchange student has claimed she was raped by two men in a car and dumped at the roadside before being raped by another man who offered to help.
The 18-year-old told judges in Naples she was heading home from a bar in March when she was attacked in the vehicle and raped by two men.
They then left her in the road, she claimed, and she was approached by a man offering to help her.
She claims he then raped her as well, ANSA news agency reported.
The man left her near a police station after the assault, she said in court on Tuesday, and she then reported the rapes.
All three of the men have been arrested and are now on bail.
None has been named.
They admit to having sex with the woman but claim it was consensual.
She has since returned to the UK but is in Naples again for the court case.
The first two men have been charged with group rape, while the third has been charged with sexual violence.
