A total of 200 couples will take part in Al Hamala Cultural and Charitable Society’s (AHCCS) 11th mass wedding on March 2.

The event will be held at Al Tadhamun Sports Club in Hamala village, under the patronage of Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan, with the co-operation of Bahrain Media Team and the Future Leaders Team.

A program, titled Marriage Licence, will also be held from Feb. 17 to 22 to raise awareness on marital issues.

Experts from Bahrain and the GCC will hold lectures and workshops on a range of family and social issues.

The society will also provide the couples with necessary basic supplies such as ovens, air conditioners, furniture or part of the marriage dowry.

Society head Habib Mubarak urged couples in this program to attend all workshops to help them acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve a stable and happy married life.
