The inaugural series of fine arts workshops organised by the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated Authority for culture, arts, and heritage, was attended by over 70 aspiring artists, highlighting the growing and continued interest of children and young adults in the arts.

The fine arts workshops were designed to instil the basics of drawing, Naseh Calligraphy, Ruqa Calligraphy, and Islamic decoration, based on traditional Arabic artforms, and were hosted by talented local and Emirati artists. The art works created at the various sessions will be displayed at an exhibition to be held in Dubai during the Holy Month of Ramadan

Following the success of the workshops, Dubai Culture plans to hold similar workshops under its expanded Arts services in due course.
