U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in London on Wednesday to discuss the failed peace talks, AFP reports.

“The meeting will discuss a possible resumption of negotiations with Israel,” an official told AFP.

Peace talks between the Israelis and Palestinians ended on April 29 when both sides failed to reach an agreement and did not deliver on previous promises, including Israel’s promise to release Palestinian prisoners.

“The meeting could be the last attempt by Kerry to revive negotiations,” an anonymous official was quoted as saying.
