Careers of talented Omanis flourish at Nawras

Nawras is delighted to announce recent key personnel promotions and appointments, in line with its mission to be employer of choice in the Sultanate of Oman. 

As more talented Omanis are taking on senior positions at this customer friendly company, the latest developments have seen Kumail Al-Moosawi being promoted to Director of People and Hussain Al-Lawati promoted to Director of Sales.  

Meanwhile, Investor Relations Manager, Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Al-Humaidi was recently appointed a member of the Board representing listed companies at the Muscat Securities Market.  

Hussain Al-Lawati joined Nawras in 2004 and in the early days he took on the responsibility of being a key account manager before achieving promotion to section head.  Al-Lawati then moved up to department head and due to his unwavering commitment to customers, capability and strong determination to succeed, he is now leading the department. 

Before joining Nawras, Al-Lawati gained experience over 15 years in various industries, working in the fields of oil and gas as well as telecommunications. A qualified practitioner of Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Al Lawati is pursuing his Chartered Manager qualifications with the Chartered Management Institute in the UK. 

Taking on the important mantle of Director of People for the Nawras family, Al-Moosawi can draw on his extensive background spanning more than 13 years in retail, operations, finance, customer service, audit and human resources. 

Part of the Nawras family since 2004, Al Moosawi is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and also the GCC HR Forum. 

Investor Relations Manager, Al-Humaidi was a Director of Market Surveillance for Muscat Securities Market.  With more than 14 years of experience, his previous roles have also included working with OCIPED as a Director of Investment Facilitations and being a visiting lecturer at the College of Commerce and Economics at Sultan Qaboos University. 

Nawras continues to develop the careers of talented Omanis who are part of the growing family responsible for delivering pleasingly different service to customers.
