ZIIC awarded shopping mall complex contract in Riyadh

Zamil Industrial Investment Company (ZIIC) has been awarded the contract to design, fabricate and supply the steel structure and air conditioning system for the Al-Hokair Khurais Plaza shopping mall project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  

 

The execution of the project is being undertaken through Zamil Steel Industries (ZSI) and Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC), two of ZIIC's three operating businesses. ZSI is providing 7,000 metric tons of manufactured steel to meet the construction requirements of the two-storey 77,000 square meter buildings, comprising a shopping mall and a hypermarket connected by a steel bridge walkway, is considered to be one of the largest steel buildings in the regional retail industry.  

 

The specifications of the project include a commitment from ZSI to tight delivery schedules for the shipment and erection of more than 500 metric tones of steel per week with an overall delivery deadline for the project completion to be in three months. Lada Trading Company, ZSI's certified builder in Riyadh, is the contractor responsible for the erection of the steel buildings.  

 

ZIIC was founded in 1998, is headquartered in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and employs more than 4,500 people in 50 countries. ZIIC exports to more than 70 markets and derives 37 percent of revenues from outside Saudi Arabia. — (menareport.com)
