Iran’s Zamzam Cola is set to enter Denmark’s soft drink market, the products first European venture, reported Politiken. The company currently markets its products in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iraq, Pakistan and several African countries.

According to Zamzam Director of Marketing Bahram Kheiry, the company has received product inquiries from vendors in France, Canada, Norway, the Netherlands, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Bangladesh.

The popular boycott of American products in the Middle East has opened a window of opportunity for Iran’s Zamzam Cola. During its first four months on the market, the soft drink company produced 10 million bottles for export to the Gulf region. More than four million cans of Zamzam were sold in the first seven days of sales in Saudi Arabia.

Zamzam has plans to upgrade and expand its production facilities in Iran and is also considering setting up a factory in Bahrain or the United Arab Emirates (UAE). — (menareport.com)
