A 40-member delegation from Yugoslavia headed by Minister of Trade Tourism and Services Slobodan Miliosavljevic had met this week with senior officials from Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and its Director General Khalid Bin Sulayem. The Yugoslav delegation visited the emirate on the occasion of first direct flight of Yugoslavian Airlines after a break of 10 years between Dubai and Yugoslavia.

Bin Sulayem stated the bilateral relations are in developing stages and such visits help in strengthening them. “We had detailed discussions and exchange of views. The meeting has brought fruitful results and in coming years more and more Yugoslavian establishments can be witnessed in the emirate,” he said.

The Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce Abdul Rahman Al-Mutawee said that his team will offer full support if the visiting delegation plans to open a trade office in the emirate. “Presence of top Yugoslavian officials in the meeting shows that they are here to do some serious business,” added Al-Mutawee. — (menareport.com)
