The Yemen Airlines Corporation, Yemenia, recently announced that it will proceed with modernization and renewal plans for its aircraft fleet, according to the London based Al-Hayat.
To do so, Yemen’s national air-carrier allocated $500 million for the purchase of nine new aircraft. The new planes, mainly Boeing 727 and 737, will shortly replace the old ones, currently in use by Yemenia. — (MENA Report)
