An agreement for the French supply of food aid was signed in the headquarters of the Yemeni Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation on Saturday.
Under the agreement, the French government would deliver 3440 tons of food to Yemen, 688 tons of which will be distributed by the World Food Program to students Socotra and Tihama areas.
According to SABA, the rest of the package will be sold to cover the costs of development projects in the country. The agreement was inked by minister of planning Ahmed Sofan and French Ambassador to Sana'a Alain Mourea.
