The Yemeni parliament has recently approved the general budget for 2002 with 482 billion Yemeni Rials in revenues, a YR 5.8 billion fall compared with the previous budget, which is equivalent to 1.2 percent, reported Al-Hayat . Total spending in the new budget is estimated at YR 532 billion, a YR 2.9 billion rise compared with 2001 general budget, which is equivalent to six percent.
