While visitor numbers were hit in the first half of this year, Dubai’s Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa management reports that tourism is rebounding quickly and long-term prospects remain ‘extremely bright’.
General manager Pam Wilby said the luxury resort exceeded its sales targets for 2003, and has finished with guest numbers and revenue up on 2002.
The hotel finishes the year as Le Méridien’s top performer in the Middle East for guest satisfaction and number one in the group worldwide for food and beverage, as monitored by global consultants, J D Powers, stated a press release.
London-based Le Méridien is a global hotel group with a portfolio of over 135 luxury and upscale hotels in 56 countries worldwide. The majority of its properties are located in the world’s top cities and resorts throughout Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. — (menareport.com)
