Xiaomi to sell its new SU7 Ultra EV globally

The company announced that it will begin selling its new EVs globally in the coming years, according to William Lu, Xiaomi’s president at Xiaomi’s product launch at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Notably, the company unveiled its entirely new SU7 Ultra EV yesterday, priced at $73,000 (529,000 Chinese yuan). It is worth mentioning that this is not Xiaomi’s first electric vehicle, as the company launched its first EV in 2021.

Lu further added that the new SU7 Ultra EV has already received 15,000 orders within 24 hours of its announcement. The company previously succeeded in selling nearly 100,000 units of its first EV, the SU7.

Xiaomi growth and stocks boost

The company recorded a significant boost in its total value and stock price, with a nearly 300% increase over the past year following the announcement of its new EV.
