The World Bank has decided to grant a $200 million loan package to Egypt during 2001. According to Al-Morakeb Al-Inmai magazine, these loans will finance economic and social development projects, in addition to advanced technology projects.
The Egyptian World Bank representative, Mahmoud Aioub, revealed that a joint work team was formed by the Bank and Egypt in order to determine the priority projects to be funded by these loans. –(Albawaba-MEBG)
