Indian national Geevarughese Varughese, a 31-year old Group Account Executive with American International Group (AIG), has walked away with a brand new Chevrolet Aveo hatchback after becoming the third winner of the EPPCO/ENOC Cash Plus campaign.
Varughese, the father of a two-year old daughter, has been resident in Dubai for almost three years. He bought the recently-launched reloadable Cash Plus smart card, a convenient alternative to carrying cash, from the EPPCO station in Al Safa.
"My wife and I were left speechless and didn't sleep that night when we were informed about the win. I called EPPCO/ENOC immediately to ensure the information was right as I thought it was a practical joke,” Geevarughese said.
Mohammed Alam Saeed, a 32-year old private driver for 10 years, was the previous Cash Plus winner.
Saeed , a Sharjah resident, married with three sons, said, “This is the first time I have ever won a prize in my life although I have previously entered many ENOC/EPPCO promotions.”
EPPCO/ENOC also announced that starting from May 17, for every card re-load of AED 100, the 10 buyers will get a chance to win a further AED 500 reloads on a monthly basis. This campaign will continue until the end of the year.
Customers buying or topping up the ENOC/EPPCO Cash Plus reloadable smart card before May 17 have the chance to enter the draws, staged fortnightly throughout this month.
Those buying or reloading Cash Plus cards at any of the 162 ENOC/EPPCO service stations throughout Dubai and the Northern Emirates get one raffle coupon for every AED 100 spent.
ENOC/EPPCO Cash Plus ad select cards are also accepted in the Al Maha network across the Sultanate of Oman through a 'cross-acceptance' strategic tie-up with Al Maha.
In turn, Al Maha’s customers can use their Smart Fuel Cards and e-Rial cards at any ENOC/EPPCO service station in the UAE. (menareport.com)
