ALBAWABA - Apple company is undergoing significant changes to its devices' release schedule, with recent reports indicating that the standard version of the iPhone 18 might face a release delay.
Some reports suggested that due to the changes in the American company, the iPhone 18 series, which is expected to be released in September 2026, could be postponed to 2027.
According to MacRumors, a website specializing in Apple news, the launch of the standard iPhone 18 may be delayed until early 2027.
This would mark the first time in the past decade that Apple has gone a full year without updating its smartphones.

This shift comes as Apple moves away from its annual tradition of launching its entire iPhone lineup in September.
The company is now adopting a staggered release strategy, launching its premium devices first in the fall, while more affordable or mainstream models are released later in the year.
Based on this strategy, Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, as well as its first foldable iPhone, during the fall of 2026.
