Weekly land transactions in Dubai

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs979.77 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs339 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs641.12 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 41 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Safouh Second that was sold for Dhs95 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Garhoud acquired for the sum of Dhs33 million and another in Port Saeed for Dhs26 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 5 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 4 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Safouh Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs95 million, followed by the Um Hurair Second area, Dhs59.17 million, and Al Garhoud area, Dhs33 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 264094 sq ft in the Wadi Al Amardi area, which went for Dhs15 million. A 56698.83 sq ft plot in the Al Safouh Second Area was acquired for Dhs95 million, while 40080 sq ft of Ras Al Khor Industrial Second was disposed of for Dhs9.5 million.

 

During the period under review 27 mortgages worth Dhs605.25 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs181.35 million for an area at Al Safouh Second. There was another for Dhs156 million on an area in Al Safouh First.
