Weekly land deals in Dubai

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs1.49 billions , of which sales exceeded Dhs426 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs1068.63 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 53 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Emirates Hills Second that was sold for Dhs104.619006 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Naif acquired for the sum of Dhs55 million and another in Al Garhoud for Dhs39 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 11 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 8 sales.

 

During  the period, Emirates Hills Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs104.62 million, followed by the Naif area, Dhs55 million, and Mirdif area, Dhs42.17 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 561600 sq ft in the Al Khawaneej Second area, which went for Dhs34.82 million. A 159462.6 sq ft plot in the Al Ruwayyah Area was acquired for Dhs3.51 million, while 58121.67 sq ft of Emirates Hills Second was disposed of for Dhs104.62 million.

 

During the period under review 29 mortgages worth Dhs815.54 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs300 million for an area at Trade Center Second. There was another for Dhs104.62 million on an area in Emirates Hills Second.
