The third telephone operator of Algeria, Watania Telecom Algeria, which has more than 850,000 subscribers in 20 wilayas, announced on August 8 that Watania Telecom will decrease its rates for international phone calls. The new rates cover the international calls to France, Spain, Canada, USA, the United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland and Germany.
<i>Liberte Algeria</i> reports that with the new rates, international phone calls will cost between AD10 and AD15 per minute.
