You can now buy Uber gift cards digitally directly from the official website. The company, which previously started selling physical gift cards through retailers back in September in other parts of the world, now finally has a digital front where you can send gift cards to friends and family.
Purchasing an Uber gift card seems relatively easy. Pick a design of the card or add your own, write a personalized note, select the amount, enter the name and email address of the receiver, and you are done.
Uber says the card can be used to pay for a ride, or UberEATS if the region supports the service (which the UAE does indeed).
Well, now I know what my friends and family can gift me this holiday! What? Uber doesn’t go to Sharjah? Nevermind then.
