Veedol Lubricants recently held its regional conference for the Middle East at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Dubai, bringing together distributors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Oman, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.

The participants discussed strategies to ensure the Veedol brand retains its position within the region, particularly in automotive workshops, according to a company press release. Veedol distributors also learned about new plans for the brand in the Middle East, including promotions and point-of-sale material.

In the UAE, the Veedol distributor is Galadari Automobiles. “Veedol has a long history in the Middle East where it has always had a strong base,” said Lubricants Manager Neil Taylor. “It holds a leading position in the Levant region in particular, and in fact some distributors have represented the company for over 50 years.”

“Veedol has always looked to new technology for future generation design and development. The brand has developed a comprehensive range of products for a wide range of applications, which have been endorsed by the world’s leading motor manufacturers, including Mercedes, Audi and Porsche, to name just a few,” he added.

“We’re extremely proud of Veedol’s accomplishments over the years,” said Farrukh Shad, from Veedol marketing. “We look forward to further developments to keep Veedol at the cutting edge of lubricant technology.”

He added that Veedol’s success worldwide and in the region was largely due to the strong relationship with Veedol distributors, and that the company had worked hard to build and maintain these relationships.

“We have a very strong sales philosophy at Veedol, and are committed to providing comprehensive sales support for improved turnover. This conference was a sign of our commitment to our distributors, who have done a commendable job in growing the brand in the Middle East.”

The Veedol brand was created in 1913, and is sold worldwide through a network of Veedol companies and distributors. Veedol is distributed to the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon and Jordan from the regional hub in Dubai. — (menareport.com)
