Value of land transactions in Dubai last week

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs765.18 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs408 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs356.83 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 54 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Marsa Dubai that was sold for Dhs87.5 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Naif acquired for the sum of Dhs39 million and another in Al Garhoud for Dhs35 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 12 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 4 sales.

 

During  the period, Marsa Dubai recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs87.5 million, followed by the Al Barsha First area, Dhs40.38 million, and Naif area, Dhs40.3 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 80000 sq ft in the Ras Al Khor Industrial Second area, which went for Dhs12 million. A 52416 sq ft plot in the Al Garhoud Area was acquired for Dhs35 million, while 49913 sq ft of Al Barsha First was disposed of for Dhs13.98 million.

 

During the period under review 32 mortgages worth Dhs302.4 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs52.5 million for an area at Emirates Hills Second. There was another for Dhs31.5 million on an area in Um Suqaim Third.
