The Egyptian Central Bank recently instructed all commercial banks in Egypt to provide any foreign currency sum required by local customers, according to Al-Bayan daily.
In addition, those seeking to buy foreign currency would no longer be required to provide documents such as passports, overseas airline tickets or other related paperwork, previously needed for such a transaction.
The Central Bank also specified that providing foreign currency to costumers must occur in a timely manner, and without unnecessary delay. –(Mena Report)
