ALBAWABA - A famous U.S. carrier, United Airlines, recently had an incident with a Boeing 737 that required an emergency landing because one of the plane's tires came off during takeoff.
The incident took place shortly after takeoff when the plane, which was traveling from San Francisco to Osaka, Japan, had a flat tire on its main landing gear.
The flight crew swiftly assessed the situation and successfully made an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport after rerouting the trip.
Officials say that there were a total of 249 people on board when the accident happened. There were 235 guests and 14 crew members on board.
There were thankfully no casualties and all passengers got down to earth without a hitch.
The loose tire was found on top of a parked car in the San Francisco Airport parking lot, which I found very interesting. Luckily, it didn't do any harm.
Even though emergency response teams were ready to help at Los Angeles International Airport, they didn't need to because the Boeing 777 landed and stopped without a hitch.
After landing, it was taken to a servicing hangar to be looked at more closely and possibly fixed.
Because tire detachments don't happen very often, flight experts thought the FAA would look into what happened to find out what caused them and stop them from happening again.
