The UAE is making more contacts and consultations with the major member countries of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to become a full member of this international body against money laundering, said the Governor of UAE Central Bank. The governor made this comment while speaking at the National Anti-Money Laundering Committee's fourth meeting.

According to Khaleej Times, the committee discussed Union Law no. four of 2002, regarding Criminalisation of Money Laundering and proposals regarding the amendment of some items.
