According to Al-Bayan newspaper, citing an official report issued by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reported that the volume of the USA's exports to the UAE grew to Dh 11.8 billion in the first quarter of 2006, up from Dh 6.2 billion in the same period last year, an impressive 91% climb.
Meanwhile, the volume of the USA's imports from the UAE grew to Dh 1.3 billion in the first quarter of 2006, up from Dh 1 billion in the same period last year, an increase of 24%.
