Emirati and Sudanese authorities met to discuss cooperation in energy and infrastructure, state news agency WAM reported.
UAE’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al-Mazrouei, Sudan’s Minister of Energy and Mining Khairy Abdel Rahman and Minister of Infrastructure Hashim Ibn Auf also discussed technological details of joint projects during the meeting on Tuesday.
The report did not reveal details of the projects or discussions, but UAE has pledged $50 million in support of economic growth in Sudan in cooperation with World Bank late June.
