The UAE President, Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued a law, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, establishing a section for property registration in the Abu Dhabi Municipality, Al Ain Municipality and any other municipality that may be set up as part of the Abu Dhabi’s department of municipalities and agriculture.
The law provides for the appointment of a registrar at each property registration section, who will report to the chairman of respective municipality. The registrar will be assisted by citizens, Khaleej Times reported.
