Leader Furniture and Joinery Craftsmen Ltd, a United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based furniture manufacturer for the hospitality industry, plans to move into the fit-out joinery business this year. Following the new initiative, the company anticipates a 10-15 percent increase in sales in the year 2002, over last year’s 95 million Emirati dirhams ($25.8 million).
The company’s major projects at hotels include the Taj Palace Dubai, Al-Hamra Fort in Ras Al-Khaimah, Sands Hotel in Abu Dhabi and the Royal Mirage in Dubai. Leader Furniture and Joinery Craftsmen Ltd. was incorporated in April 1994 to manufacture, supply and install fine joinery, kitchens, wardrobes and institutional furniture, interior decorations and hotel fit-outs.
