Aircraft arrivals and departures at the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) international airports increased by 4.74 percent in the first half of 2001. The number of arrivals and departures during the first six months of the year amounted to 94,000 in 2002, compared to 89,749 in the second half of 2001.
There are six International Airports in the UAE. The Emirate of Abu Dhabi has two airports, one in Al-Ain and another one in the capital city of Abu Dhabi.
