Organisers of a charity initiative to help Lebanese people, on Tuesday appealed to the UAE and regional telecommunications firms and banks to join the campaign by asking their customers to make donations to the campaign.
The campaign, dubbed "With You Lebanon", aims at collecting donations and sending them to ease the plight of Lebanese people. "Charity organisations are appalled by the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Lebanon. Therefore, we urge banks and telecommunications firms to lend a helping hand," said Abdul Rahman Al Tunaiji, Director, Public Relations at the RCS.
