The United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) soft drink exports are twice as high as its net imports, with exports being shipped mainly to countries in the Middle East region, confirmed a study published by the Emirates Industrial Bank (EIB).
Some 90 percent of the UAE’s soft drink exports are sold to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which do not have sufficient production facilities to manufacture their own carbonated drinks. Total demand for all soft drinks, excluding mineral water, amounts to approximately 260 million liters. — (menareport.com)
