Mohsen Khan, Middle East and Central Asia Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), forecasts the national economy of the UAE to grow by 10.5% by the end of the current year of 2006 compared with 8.5% last year and 9.7% in 2004.
According to him, the oil sector in the UAE is set to grow by at least 11% by the end of the current year following the launch of major oil facilities in the country.
