According to Al-Watan newspaper, the Chairman of the Jebel Omer Development Company, Sheikh Abdul-Rahman Faqih, signed two real estate destruction contracts in the framework of the second phase of Mecca's Jebel Omer Development Project.
The first contract, valued at SR 9 million, was awarded to the Ahmed Al-Wahdi Contracting Establishment. It consists of destroying 60% of the buildings in the site. The second contract, valued SR 6 million, was awarded to the Mua'ad Al-Meteiry Real Estate Establishment. It consists of destroying the remaining 40% of the buildings in the site.
The two companies were committed to execute the real estate destruction process based on the required safety and cautionary standards particularly since the site is located in a highly overcrowded zone.
