Turkish stock exchange stays flat at opening

Türkiye's benchmark stock index BIST 100 opened Tuesday at 9.,673.56 points, marking a slight increase of 0.08% or 7.78 points from the previous close.

On Monday, the BIST 100 index was down by 1.14% to 9,665.78 points, with a daily transaction volume of 73 billion Turkish liras ($2.14 billion).

As of 11.20 a.m. (0820GMT), the exchange rates stood at 34.2050 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 37.9930 for the euro, and 45.6260 for the British pound.

The price of one ounce of gold was $2,643.06, and the price of Brent crude oil traded at $70.70 per barrel.
