Turkish construction company Enka Insaat will build the Wadi Athmania Dam in Algeria in partnership with the local Kou GC Company. Construction has a target launch date set for September 1, reported Anatolia. Enka will hold a 75 percent share in the project, Kou GC will hold a 12 percent stake and Gecet, another Algerian firm, will also hold the remaining 12 percent in the venture.

Established in 1957, Enka performs many construction activities, including highways, thermal power plants, dams, airports, cement factories and industrial plants. The company’s developments include the Bekhme Dam in Iraq, the Ankara and Ankara Peripheral Motorway and the Russian-Turkish natural gas pipeline. — (menareport.com)
