Turkish Airlines saw a 10 percent rise in the number of passengers in the first seven months of 2015, according to stock market data released on Monday.

The Borsa Istanbul showed 34.4 million passengers flew with the airline between January and July, compared to 31 million over the same months last year.

Passenger numbers on domestic routes were up 14.1 percent while international routes saw an 8.2 percent rise. Since August last year, the carrier has added 12 international and five domestic destinations to its flight schedule.

On Sunday, the company announced a net profit of 1.35 billion Turkish liras ($476 million) despite rising fuel costs and the fall in the value of the lira.
