Turkish Airlines begins new route to Venice

Turkish Airlines has launched a new flight route to the Italian city of Venice from Istanbul’s second airport, the country's national flag carrier announced on Monday.

Previously, travelers could only fly to Venice from the Ataturk Airport on the European side of Istanbul.

The new flights between Sabiha Gokcen International Airport and Venice Marco Polo Airport will operate daily in both directions, the airline said, adding that the flights began on Monday.

The airline already has flights to Amsterdam, Baku, Berlin, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Northern Cyprus, Frankfurt, Kiev, Kuwait, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Tbilisi, Tehran, Tel Aviv, Vienna, Rome, Stuttgart, Cologne, Barcelona, Dammam, Erbil, and Bahrain from Sabiha Gokcen Airport.

Turkish Airlines offers flights to over 250 international destinations in over 100 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and America.
