Trade activity between Iran and Turkey reached $912.7 million in the first nine months of 2001, compared to $748.7 million during the same period of the previous year, recorded the Turkish State Statistics Organization. This implicates a 22 percent annual rise.
During the first nine months of the current year, Turkish exports to Iran jumped 50 percent, reaching $274.2 million, compared to $181.8 million in 2000.
