Tunisia's foreign currency revenue boosted by growing tourism

Tunisia's foreign currency revenue has shown an increase of about 38.1% thanks to the increasing number of the tourists visiting Tunisia.

 

For the first six months of the year 2005, the number of tourists has recorded an 11% increase in Tunisia. Among the European tourists, French tourists are on the top of the list with 719,641 visitors (+ 21, 5%) followed by Germans 290,385 (+4, 1%) and Italians 261,899 (+15, 6%). Tunisia is also receiving visitors from Spain, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Malta, Scandinavia and countries in the central Europe as well as Arab countries and Asian countries, Le Temps reported.
