A delegation from Tunisia visited Dubai recently in a bid to boost trade relations.
According to Abdelmajid Ben Hamadou, Head of Tunisian Exports Office, “We are interested in finding a system of cooperation to enhance trade between Dubai and Tunisia, responding to our Government's call to promote Tunisian products in the UAE's markets, mainly in Dubai, due to its strategic importance in the Middle East.’’
Dubai's total foreign non-oil trade with Tunisia in 2004 reached Dh99.4 million of which a total of Dh22.9 million involves Dubai's imports from Tunisia in the same year, Khaleej Times reported.
