A recently published report shows that Tunisian tourism revenues grew to 2.4 billion Tunisian Dinars in 2001, up from TD 1.9 billion in 2000, reported Al-Bayan . These figures translate into a 12 percent rise. The report also shows that 5.4 million tourists arrived into Tunisia last year compared with 5,285,000 tourists in the previous year of 2000.
