Total value of land transactions in Dubai

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs411.68 millions  million, of which sales exceeded Dhs261 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs151.06 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 35 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Barsha First that was sold for Dhs59.74 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Um Suqaim First acquired for the sum of Dhs59.4 million and another in Al Suq Al Kabeer for Dhs11.626 million

 

The Nad Al Shiba area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 6 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 4 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Barsha First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs71.1 million, followed by the Um Suqaim First area, Dhs59.4 million, and Nad Al Shiba area, Dhs38.43 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 108000 sq ft in the Um Suqaim First area, which went for Dhs59.4 million. A 74675 sq ft plot in the Al Barsha First Area was acquired for Dhs59.74 million, while 55541.59 sq ft of Nad Al Shiba was disposed of for Dhs8.05 million.

 

During the period under review 14 mortgages worth Dhs137.72 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs66.5 million for an area at Al Barsha First. There was another for Dhs25 million on an area in Mankhool and a further sum of Dhs16.82 million registered on an area of land sold in Al Barsha First.
